When I was growing up, people always said, “If we can put a man on the moon, why can’t we (fill in the blank)?” It became a bit of a joke. Now I hear this, “The Mt Rushmore of (fill in the blank).” I have succumbed to this and stated that my Mt. Rushmore of College Basketball is Indiana, Kansas, North Carolina and Kentucky. On a side note, I will be at Allen Field House for the Kansas-KSU game in February. That will complete my bucket list of arenas to attend. Assembly Hall, Rupp Arena, Smith Center and now Allen Field House!
So I have decided now to put together my Mt. Rushmore of special occasions jewelry gift list.
1. Yes it is cheesy, but it is one day of the year that most of us feel romantic. And no chocolates or flowers, think Diamonds, in particular think these gorgeous diamond hoops.
2. This is the perfect time to find an item of jewelry that can be passed down from generation to generation. Try this dazzling diamond right-hand ring.
3. Your wedding day, and then of course your anniversary, this pearl necklace works beautifully.
4. Wednesday. OK, so really any day that is not traditionally celebrated. Give someone you love a gift just because. This diamond bracelet is one of our most popular and is definitely the Mt. Rushmore of ’just because.’
