How Your Order Gets To You
One of the most frequent questions we get at SuperJeweler.com is: How long will it take my order to get to me? Today, we are going to talk about the exact steps your order goes through to reach you. This will help you gauge how long it will take for your order to arrive.
Step 1: Your order goes into our order database.
Once your payment is approved, it is stored in our database. (Note: If you choose to use the Google checkout method, your payment may take up to 48 hours to be approved.) Every day, our Processing Department goes through the order database until 3 p.m. (EST) and delivers orders to our Production Department.
Step 2: The Production Department gets your item ready for shipping.
At SuperJeweler.com, we have more than 27,000 pieces in stock! This means that most of the items you see on our site are ready to be shipped the day your order is received. Some items, like diamond rings, however, require special attention and, yes, more processing time. In some cases, it may take up to three days to get a ring sized. We provide jewelry to shoppers all over the world, and our Production Department is meticulous in its approach to provide the highest quality item possible. To be safe, we suggest you allow up to three days for processing time no matter which item you’re ordering.
A Handy Tip: When you click the blue "Buy" button on the item page, you’ll be taken to a page that has information about your product. (This same information also shows up on the receipt you are e-mailed.) One of the columns is labeled "Ships in" and this column let you know how quickly we are able to ship your item.
Step 3: Your item goes through a rigorous quality control inspection.
We have very high standards for quality at SuperJeweler.com. Our Quality Control department looks at each and every piece of jewelry for approval before passing it to the Shipping Department.
Step 4: Your order is packaged and shipped.
Our Shipping Department works long and hard to ensure we ship as many orders as possible each a day. (And trust us, some days it’s a heck of a lot of orders!) A tracking number is assigned to every package we send, and this number is e-mailed to you as soon as your item is shipped. Our Customer Service representatives are also happy to provide your tracking number, or even track your package for you! Depending on the shipping method you choose, your package should arrive according to the following schedule:
- Overnight: up to 1 business day after processing
- 2-Day Shipping: up to 2 business days after processing
- 3-Day Shipping: up to 3 business days after processing
- Free Shipping: 3-4 business days after processing
